Outward Bound

In partnership with Irwin Mitchell, Geoff Caplan and facilitated by the Outward Bound Trust, in 2011 Leeds Rugby Foundation invited 47, 13 to 14 year olds across 9 Amateur clubs within Leeds to an 8 day programme of activities at the Outward Bound centre in Aberdovey Wales.

The group spent 7 days taking part in all sorts of activities they wouldn't usually get to try from rock climbing, and kayaking, to beach rugby and abseiling. Some very special memories were created for all those who took part and the groups learning outcomes were discussed with an emphasis being put on how they could put those learnings into action in the future. Friends were made which have continued long after the trip and we are looking forward to another very successful trip in 2012.
