Leeds Carnegie are extremely proud of the reputation the community team have built over recent years, with thousands of youngsters from right across Yorkshire and beyond having taken part in the Carnegie community programme in one form or another.

One of the key objectives of the camps is to help sport at grass roots level, ensuring that the youngsters learn some real rugby and lifestyle skills as well as enjoying themselves.

Each camp is attended by Leeds Carnegie players, who pass on their rugby experience and skills to the children. No other rugby camp in Yorkshire has access to so many professional rugby players that Leeds Carnegie can provide. With players grouped according to age, size and position the Leeds Carnegie coaching staff aim to improve the skills of every player that takes part.

Headed up by Leeds Carnegie and British Lion John Bentley and joined 1st team players and rising Academy stars.

Leeds Carnegie Summer rugby camps are for kids aged 7-12 years old with U7's and U8's grouped together for Tag rugby skills and U9's - U12's grouped together for rugby skills including contact.

The aim of the camps is to develop and improve the skills of the young rugby player with an emphasis on enjoyment in a safe and controlled environment. With top coaching by Leeds Carnegie and British Lion John Bentley, 1st team coaching staff, Academy players and visits from Leeds Carnegie players this camp is not to be missed.
